Our boy Jimmy probably isn't ideally suited in a 4-man backline right now.

I'll tell you what though -- if we can find a way to bypass that midfield even moderately successfully, I think we'll be able to fluster these guys.

One thing that's frustrating with this roster though is that we don't have a central midfielder that is consistently able to be a pressure release in possession. Bradley always did it, Adams and McKennie can do it, but Acosta just can't find space to help out his backline in deep possession.

All of the above can be traced in part to Zimmerman’s injury.
 
Just based on how sands plays in a 4 man back line, I don’t think he’s leaving us for a minute. Maybe this winter
 
I'll be the debbie downer that says Stu Holden saying Miles Robinson wanted it more was disappointing.

I was (happily) shocked at how well Robinson played this tournament. I'm not sure if it is a blip in his play or (hopefully) his coming out party.

He's a good defender in league play, but he was another level this month. Hopefully he keeps it up and is out of the East next season!
