USMNT Talk

And why the fuck do I have to watch my AMERICAN team on a Spanish television channel?
Huh? BeIN Sports is based in Miami, and is broadcasting in English.
Also, Univision is based in New Jersey, so they're pretty American too. Lots of Americans speak Spanish, dude.

Also, holy shit that second goal for Guatemala was embarrassing.

I might even accept a loss for the simple reason to get Jurgen fired. Unfortunately he won't get the boot until after we fail to qualify for the World Cup, so we can simply suffer through shitty football from a shitty manager.

Mix not exactly covering himself in glory tonight.

Made a nice pass just as I said that. But still.

I don't have BeIN Sports. I'm watching on NBC Universo.

And this ref looks like 16 and probably doesn't even speak English. CONCAFUCK!

If anyone believes that firing Jurgen would not be in the best interest of US Soccer, you are a mentally challenged individual.

I'm not hearing American on the sound.
You're trolling now, right? Otherwise, it's pretty fucked up to equate speaking Spanish with not being American. In this context especially, given how many current and former USMNT players either speak Spanish or come from Spanish-speaking backgrounds.

And considering that the match is also being broadcast on another network in English.

I don't know what they're saying but it sounds biased towards Guatemala. I'm just saying there should be an English language channel on "regular" cable packages to watch this game. NBC Sports Network, FS2, ESPN News, CSPAN, something.

Third time today Bradley rockets a long shot, missing the goal by barely 5o ft.

I am appalled that you equate the commentators speaking Spanish with being biased towards Guatemala when you cannot even speak or understand the Spanish language. How would you even know if they were biased or not?!

Team settling in, Mix looking better too. If we were only 1 down I'd be feeing optimistic.

ETA: should probably have picked up a yellow for that tactical foul though.

The game is on Bein. But a bit odd it's not on FS or ESPN when the U-23 was.
I know Bein is trying to carry more games and attract a broader audience.
Here are a couple of nicknames so far that sum up the half.
Clint 'Rolling Around' Dempsey
Michael 'Skied That One' Bradley
Geoff 'Turns It Over' Cameron

How badly have the US really been playing? I haven't been able to watch the game and just saw that they are down 2-0 at half.
