USMNT Talk

I don't know what they're saying but it sounds biased towards Guatemala. I'm just saying there should be an English language channel on "regular" cable packages to watch this game. NBC Sports Network, FS2, ESPN News, CSPAN, something.
You can't really fault BeIn for paying the price. Call your cable company. They won the bid. They even did an 1.5 hours of pregame. There are people being capitalists and building a network around soccer. I admire them and what they have accomplished so far.

Fucking Klinnsman, however, makes me sick.

I am appalled that you equate the commentators speaking Spanish with being biased towards Guatemala when you cannot even speak or understand the Spanish language. How would you even know if they were biased or not?!

Well in the studio host showed social media posts all about Guatemala. Doesn't seem very neutral to me. I'm sure they're Spanish language fans of USMNT who are tweeting about the shit we're producing on the field.

They look pretty bad. Not creating any chances when on the ball and defense seems unorganized. The score is a fair reflection of the play

Order Bein. Well worth it considering they carry LaLiga as well and A LOT of USMNT qualifiers. If not most.

Isn't BeIn owned by some Arabian company? Whoever owns the channel really needs to work on becoming a standard channel as opposed to a channel that is only offered as a part of very specific packages with a few providers.

The game is on Bein. But a bit odd it's not on FS or ESPN when the U-23 was.
I know Bein is trying to carry more games and attract a broader audience.
Here are a couple of nicknames so far that sum up the half.
Clint 'Rolling Around' Dempsey
Michael 'Skied That One' Bradley
Geoff 'Turns It Over' Cameron

We gotta remember that these matches are sold in a package by the home confederation to a third party (The notoriously dirty Traffic) and then sold to networks. In order for ESPN or Fox to get this match they would have a.) had to deal with Traffic, which most US corporation try to avoid and b.) bought the entire package of Guatemala matches, which they surely do not want.

We all know the reason for the channel situation is corruption in CONCACAF and FIFA in general. They cut that deal that all matches outside the US go on Bein (owned by Al Jezera), that most this country does not get. Maybe CONCACAF can be disbanded and we can get out of that rediculous contract so we can grow the sport.

As for the match, utter dog shit. It pisses me off that Klinsy has done a great job assembling talent up and down the ranks, but he can't pick the right team or formation for the life of him. And it's not from being naive, he's outsmarting himself. Frustrating.

What channel are you watching the game on?

Bein won the rights to US away wcq and ESPN to home

He reminds me so much of our time with Kreis. You don't know what it is the team is trying to do. Offensively we are lost. The only opportunities come from the occasional cross and long ball to the box.

Except Klinsy has a much better eye for talent!

They're kind of like FoxSoccer2Go as well. Was able to watch Costa Rica match on my phone in great HD quality. Got a good look at Matta. It's definitely worth the $10 a month right now due to USMNT alone.

Unfortunately my provider (Dish Network) doesn't carry Fox Soccer2Go and doesn't allow for streaming on any of the FoxSports apps. It's a pain in the ass.

I'll have to check on BeIn sports. (I just know that I don't have it in my current package)

So what where they are from? Didn't Lion just get nailed by you guys for similar thinking?

I chose my cable package because I knew who owned what. That's the point of having a choice. Like I said, call the cable company. That's the only way you will get change there. Otherwise, find a bein carrier and pay for it. That's how making money works. People like compensation for providing a service. Sounds reasonable and American to me.

Pretty sure 2go is a separate service. Download the app the pay the monthly price. It's not connected to your cable provider.

Well Mix is out of the game and will probably never start another match under Jurgen.

NBC Universo, 42 on Time Warner Cable and it's not even 1080 HD
At least you have the ability to watch the game on TV. My dish package (with hundreds of channels I don't even watch or need) doesn't carry NBC Universario.

On a side note, Univision owns the rights to broadcast USMNT home qualifiers in Spanish.

Would have taken off Bradley before mix. Or maybe, you know, move cam to CB and Yedlin back.
