USMNT Talk

Will be really interesting to see the formation in this one.

I think the only way you get Bradley, Jones and Klejstan in the game at the same time is to go double pivot with Sasha up top. Then, you can put Pulisic on the left with maybe Bedoya on the right and Jozy holding things up. Not convinced that 4-2-3-1 is the right way, however.

I would have loved to see a 3-4-3 or 3-5-2, with Brooks - Cameron - Besler in back, but I think without Geoff, it gets hard. You could then have a midfield of Fabian - Bradley - Jones - Yedlin with Pulisic - Altidore - Wood in front, or maybe take out Wood and put in Sasha for a 5 man midfield. Maybe next window.

How about this for Friday night?

I expect Jozy to do approximately jack shit. But I'll be happy if I'm wrong. I like Wood much better if you play with one striker.

If we get pushed back, like i suspect given that Bradley is terrible, it will be even more critical to have Wood's pace.

Wrong on Altidore. Wrong on Bradley.
You talking to me?

I don't even see what there is to be wrong about in what I said on Altidore - it's my expectation and preference.

As for Bradley, I can't figure out what exactly he does over the last couple of years, other than bad giveaways. He certainly isn't a competent international defender or ball winner, and when he's pressured, he lacks poise. I think we could do better if we actually ever gave someone else the chance to take over the #6. Not relevant to today, but Geoff is better at most all of the required duties than Michael.

If this one is too long, just forward to 6:35

Gotham Gator Gotham Gator tell me he can defend. Keep on.

Oh. And then Altidore choking like I said. Damn dude. It's like you don't even watch the games that count.

And now that there's a pause: both players exhibiting the exact dogshit I did they would exhibit. Keep watching friendlies, bro.

Is funny because Jozy has been his usual horrible self, and Bradley has more passes to Mexico than USA

Sad first half from the US. And now we have a veteran that's injured. Mexico is continually criminally flopping all around the field.

So much for being in form. Go pull a fucking hamstring.

Don't mention that to Gotham Gator Gotham Gator - Jozy is world class. And Bradley defends. But yet we saw different.

And gotham, sorry to give you a hard time. But I really don't know what you've been watching to be so up on these guys. I halfway was posting for a reverse jinx, even though I saw it as true.

How do you really think these guys competent?

I don't know how a coach can watch what Pulisic, wood and Johnson were doing in attack and say, you know what these three creative guys need? Someone to stand around and get in their way. You can't even make the defense that he is a target man, he plays so soft in the air.
