USMNT Talk

Timmy Chandler sucks.

What an embarrassment.

No skill. No organization. No fight.

Chandler looks terrible and so does Jermaine Jones.

Listening to Thomas Rongen is interesting though. It's almost like we forgot he was there before Bruce.

I was a fan of Kreis even though I patiently listened too everyone who thought he had to go until that Montreal game last Julyish when we were legitimately battling Montreal for the 6th spot and he trotted out that piece of shit lineup and we lost. Kreis lost me that game and Klinsman lost me this game. That was complete shit tactics and shit personnel and we were terrible. I think it was Rongen who said yes we can still qualify for the WC, but how can we do anything when we get to Russia playing like this. Spot on. I have been a supporter of the Coach but no more. Demote him to just Technical Director of US Soccer until some other team buys his contract out and get someone else in there to Coach our national team in 2017.

It's funny. Julian Green's dad favorited my tweets about how damn stupid Klinsy's subs were when he didn't bring on the young attackers.

I mean, we were getting run. And he made THOSE SUBS???

Yes, by all means, let him continue to poison the well of our entire development pipeline.

Remember how our U-23s failed to qualify for the Olympics this past year?
my rep was not regarding the Klinsy having any role going forward. I only read the criticism.

$$$$$$$ Klinsy's buyout clause was reported to be $10Mil when I was listening to Sirius earlier today The smart play is to replace him and not pay the buyout -- I want him out completely at this point but we have much better uses for the money. Somebody else will grab him and we will only have to pay a fraction of what we would otherwise under my plan which is admittedly stupid except for the $$$$.

I agree with Keith.

I'm still with Gulati (simply because he was a professor for one of my econ classes).

But I'm on the #FireJurgen campaign as much as I was on the #StartEirik

I don't know how any professional human being can continually miss on standards and goals and still have a job.

Don't pay the buyout, keep him on as technical director or a lobbyist for FIFA but don't keep him anywhere near the USMNT.

Gulati is a fucking joke. He painted himself into this corner due to being, excuse me, but a fucking academic dork.

And for that alone, he should lose his job. Not to mention the fact that he should probably be on the indicted list, at least as being complicit in all the bullshit, if not more.

I'll give him one last sliver of hope. If we doesn't get the 2026 World Cup in the United States and the US alone, then he's out.

Also if the final isn't in New York then he's also out.

This was written after the Mexico loss, and is spot on.

"Klinsmann doesn’t miscalculate. He simply doesn’t understand. He doesn’t think about the details. It didn’t occur to him that the players might not feel comfortable. It didn’t occur to him to consider all of the possibilities. It never does."

Absolutely agree with everything this guy said.

"So everyone is hesitating and everyone is a step late. All of sudden Hector Herrera is wide open and we are screaming at two of the best players to wear the nation’s colors that they are dogshit."

"Klinsmann is asking [them] to cut down a tree and handing [them] a hammer."

Club coaches deserve second chances (and aren't always given one). That's at a level where every year is a fresh start. For a national team, you are seriously fucking around with 30 or so players and their careers. They only get a shot at the WC a few times. JK has completely fucked over a handful of guys to an unforgivable extent.
