Apropos of nothing that this thread was intended to cover, I don't think Villa is 5'9". I stood right next to him at the original jersey release, and I could look down at the top of his head. I'm 5'11".

He's gotta be around 5'7" at the most - I'm about 5'8" 1/2 and each time we've met he's been just a bit below my eye line.

How or why could you not like Shweinny? I thought everyone liked him. He does like everything exactly right. That's like not liking Muller or Kroos. If you like the game of soccer, you have to love those guys. They are just too good at what they do.

ETA: Could add Khedira to that, too, I guess. sigh. (although, he is slightly less like-able to me, given his being slightly more prone to the nasty challenge)

Kroos can be a bit of a douche, but agree with Schweini and Müller.
