His birthday. You dont sub out your CB for a fullback. Further if one buys into the whole "he needed rest" argument thrn that could more easily be applied to most of the other starters who ran far more than hernandez.

Wingert subbing in for Hernandez was a FB coming in for a CB, but then that was balanced when Kwame came in for RJ. Though I'm not too sure why the timing was as it was.
