Agree on the Pin Stripes. I remember years ago when the Metrostars had their narrow pin-stripes and it was absolutely vile - the first of many awful jerseys by the AC Milan wannabe.

Given that ~40% of voters on this board (N=significant, don't remember exact number of votes) either dislike or really hate the car bed version of the new away shirt, do you think team management is actively freaking out/scrambling behind the scenes right now?

If the shirt already exists, it's not being changed.
You can find 40% of the board who dislike every player on our team and complain about every win. Just like with the uproar over the jerseys last year, it will sell just fine and no one will care. If they listened every time 40% of this board got in an uproar over something, they would never do anything.
Jersey week was apparently the week leading up to the season last year, so I guess they're not worried about it. Saw on twitter that Philly's shirt just leaked, so we're not the only one without an official announcement.
This. The extensive cheers Lampard got in his first appearances confirmed that Forums sentiment means very little, I'm afraid.

40% of this board probably makes up 1% of all the fans that purchase jerseys. They don't give a rats ass what we think.
We're getting the Seismic jersey.
I refuse to accept that the 25 or so of us that write here religiously have no influence on the team!
I don't 'hate' the mothership jersey. Wish it was a little more creative, some time of NYC uniqueness added in somewhere, but it's understated and classic. I can respect it, but hope for better in the future. Hate the Seismic jersey, can't wait for it to go away. So mothership over seismic. But I'll just wear last year's away 100% of the time (like I did last year, even though I own both), which were butter.

Ugh....is this the best those designers can come up with? I had no great love for last year away Jersey. Black in our culture is for mourning. It must had been premonitions of game results. However I bought one under the impression it was a dark navy blue, until I came home and the next day, I looked it under the sunlight and it was Black!
What annoys me the most is why does Etihad Brand has to be the biggest letters? Why we consumers should pay to advertise a company's name on our proud chest? Etihad Should be paying us for advertising their name.
This year I am making a formal pledge not to buy the away jersey. I rather spend the money at Hard Rock Cafe or gorging on empanadas at the Dugout with lots of tabasco sauce.

Definitely "Mothership" over "Seismic". Mothership is actually a beautiful jersey, I just never got one because of Lampardgate, but I'll have to get one this one since we're given the awful Seismic design.
