Not so nice to see you can't help it.
I actually think you're a great poster and a must read usually. Don't understand your internet tough guy thing. Outside of having an issue with your attitude on the internet, I'm very pleasant.

Which leads me to conclude that NYCFC might have already used it's buyout on a player who was already released and it was simply listed as option declined or some such. I expect this is done as a courtesy to the players who are bought out.
He's had a year in the system, and his strong suit is possession. I truly think he will have a chance to win the starting spot, but I think that will only last until Johnson can get the possession facet of his game up to Vieira's liking. What are the chances that Johansen starts over Sean?
Trade anything for Saunders. How about an extra charter flight?
I like this creative thinking. If we can't unload him to another MLS club, we should ask Garber for permission to loan him to Chapecoense for free and get his cap hit off the books even as we pay his salary. This seems crazy enough to work as a one-time exception type thing. Everyone in the futbol world wants to help Chape, and this could be the MLS contribution.
I saw Mix play good one time. It was with the USMNT and he looked like a young Pirlo for one half. Other than that he has been super frustrating. Guy runs around like a mad man and accomplishes nothing. Given the big enough sample size of unproductive play combined with his mostly shitty (and sometimes fake good) attitude toward the team, I never want to see him on the pitch again representing our Club.

The answer is still yes, apparently.Does every thread now devolve into this mix shit?
The close of the Lampard era left a huge void in scorched earth banter. The answer is still yes, apparently.
YUUUUGEEE. (why not another Fat Frank joke for old times?)The close of the Lampard era left a huge void in scorched earth banter.
Bruh... This man has 2 MLS Cups. I can entirely accept that he may not be the keeper for us right now but I jeeeeeeez...
With this in mind, let's compare. Here's our end of 2015 starting XI after dropped players and before acquisitions:Also, looking at the transaction summaries, we let go 11 guys last offseason and brought in 9 and then added Chanot over the summer.
This year, we have let 9 go so far and added 2. I think this is more turnover than many might like, but given how well we did adding guys last year, I am confident we can get good people this season.
I also don't think our turnover is particularly high compared to the league overall.
Okay, fine. Two character flights, $50K in GAM, $50K in TAM, and a 4th Round 2019 SuperDraft Pick...
We saw how hard it is to get a TEAM together, they will have just as much to worry about.
They still have to fill out their roster, and I'm sure there will be a bunch of crap in there. Theyve got to be nearly out of intl; spots and cap money. That means lots of overpaid americans to fill out the entire defense (Larentowicz is 33) and all their backups.Yes, and it is still hard to put a team together entering year 3. I definitely have to give Atlanta props and much has to be said about having competent leadership from day one and not clinging to vestiges of MLS 1.0 and building a team around a bunch of squad players well beyond their mediocre prime. Year one set us back about 2 years
They have Zach Loyd and Mikey Parkhurst. That's not a bad place to be starting from. I'm pretty sure at least one of those guys would at least spot start for us if not take one of the positions. Both are good with the ball and Parkhurst is a strong passer (don't know about Loyd).Atlanta has no defense and likely will have no defense when the season starts. You can have Messi and ronaldo on your team and it will do you no good if they are stuck in their half and never get the ball.
