For authentic or replica? Looks like the authentics don't have a straight cut (longer in the front and back, but shorter on the sides)
As far as length, more true to size is probably right. Since I tried on the short-sleeved authentic today, I can tell you that it was much longer than the short-sleeved authentic hypnokit in the same size. My hypnokit is on the long side, but looks normal and is wearable (other than the number 88 which has made it unwearable). The new kit I tried on today in that same size was way too long and not wearable. I went down a size which was the perfect length. In fact, the smaller size actually wasn't so tight on the body as well, which is usually why I had to go a size up with every other kit. Someone who has both kits at home can do a true comparison, but I can tell you that there was a difference.
Authentic
I had ordered right away, received a confirmation, and then on Friday received a notice that shipments were being delayed (anticipating a week, but not certain), stay tuned, and feel free to cancel at any point before shipping. For whatever reason, there's some back up, which may be the reason now even confirmations are delayed. In comparison, I ordered the anthem jacket last week, also received a confirmation, and then a shipping notice shortly thereafter.
