The actual deadline was yesterday, when they had to inform MLS. There is no rule about a public announcement today, but that is how it has happened in the past.
Yes? But it appears they cooperate with the club's preferences. Can't the MLS website technically announce it before NYCFC even does?
Let's just hope that's today, then.Yes? But it appears they cooperate with the club's preferences.
that shit is being announced at 11:59PM then
Start refreshing the Man City site if you want to see it earlier
Damnit, my impatient mind skipped over your text, and clicked on the link, assuming this was the announcement for this year.
Pretty sure this will be the URL when they publish the article:
https://www.nycfc.com/post/2018/11/27/new-york-city-fc-announce-roster-options-2019
And I bet they alter the naming convention somehow just to prevent people from doing what you are trying to do.
Only works if someone accidentally makes a post public when they are working on a draft. And I bet they alter the naming convention somehow just to prevent people from doing what you are trying to do.

What, it’s not normal to breeze past League mandated milestones and not disseminate PR describing the actions? That’s the MO in every kingdom dictatorship so it’s business as usual.I know we all have a lot of legitimate complaints. They all seem to boil down to a lack of transparency from this Club

It's so frustrating. I don't ask for much, but a big one is to treat the fans like adults. Respect your fanbase enough to be transparent.
I've thought a lot about this as you can see. There are guys like Stan Collymore that use their bully pulpit to go to war with clubs over their lack of transparency.
I do think this is a little bit different than what Collymore does with Aston Villa. That's a club with 130 years of history. It's a neighborhood club. The people that support the club live in Birmingham and it's generational.
Ours is a little different in that this club is 5 years old and none of us helped build it.
That being said, we are paying customers and we get shit on all the time. I don't need anything special. But if you're not at least as transparent as Sporting KC, then you've got a massive PR problem. Then throw in Lampard, the Stadium, Proud Boys, etc.
