Guess it's fair to assume he takes over PK duties from Villa. Hadn't thought about it but I'm not sure I feel great about anyone currently on the roster being I primary PK taker.
Last year the word out of the locker room, can’t remember who reported it, was that Isi was far and away the best free kick taker. That dude showed he has a wicked strike when allowed to take them - just needs consistency to be effective.
I thought Isi did very well on the limited corners he was allowed to take as well. I hope we also use a lot more of a right and left footed over the ball at the same time instead of Villa and a token person up there with him.
Sorry if this was posted, but I'm guessing we could get news by the end of the day?
Feel bad for the guy. Not his fault, but it looks like we are done for this window and he will be unfairly tasked with replacing Villa.
No one can replace all the on and off feild intangibles of Villa but I think it's a fair expectation that this guy replace a solid amount of the goals given what we are paying for him.
Nah. They always delay the announcements to produce welcome videos and stuff like that. If he’s in Manchester today, let’s say he joins the team tomorrow, then maybe we hear by tuesday?
He's small enough to dodge the insults and looks angry enough to fight back. Gio left a hole for short, quick, explosive, tattooed, shaved headed attacking mids. Maybe Mitriţă can fill that void?

FWIW Amagat just signed a contract to play in the Third Tier of Spanish Football.
