Guy could earn $10mm for all I care. With that transfer fee TAM option went out the window.

But it does mean he’s in line to be our highest paid player in a couple years. Unless we move Medina or Maxi for someone who commands a large wage. We might have one of the lowest payrolls in MLS right now.

If you don’t plan to sell the player on, the sell on clause is meaningless. What’s the market going to be for a 26 year old Romanian in MLS in a couple of years?

Like Giovinco, he has tattoo arm sleeves and I’ve seen plenty pictures of him sticking out his tongue. At least he’ll look the part.

Can he do FKs tho?

MLS Website off and running.

UPDATE: Fanatik reported on Friday that the deal is done between NYCFC and Universitatea Craiova, with Mitrita set to undergo a physical and move across the Atlantic in the coming days, via a transfer fee of "close to 8 million Euros." According to the report, it makes him the third-most-expensive outgoing transfer in the history of Romania's top flight.

Here is the article cited by the MLS website. It means there are now 3 separate sources, all Romanian (for what that's worth), none of which cite the others.

Hey. It was a machine translation. Who knows what it really said. Work with me here.

We could just say that Mitrita is "Poetry in Motion"!
