In all honesty, and I mean this in a serious was, was Sweat really that bad? I actually thought in many games he was very good. I say we keep him as backup LB (thought his salary will be too high for a backup, but @amagat hmu boy) and find someone else before him, but I actually think he does really well against the teams with slower wingers or teams that play through the middle rather than throug ht he wings, which could be great time to let our starting LB get some rest, the way Tinnerholm absolutely did not get any way this season which virtually killed him by playoffs (shown by the awful performances towards the end of the year)
this is the problem, we are starting a player who should be a backup in case our starter is injured/suspended. starting him on a weekly basis is an issue.

I'm pretty sure Seven was referring to Villa, not Taty. And Seven, everything is cryptic. I would not be surprised if Villa's status is resolved fairly late, especially if we re-sign him on a non-DP contract.

i guess i can see that, i thought it was more Castellanos getting a signed shirt before he left.

i think so i still think he is solid backup for the Cap rules etc. He just gets caught too much and beaten to my liking. I think he did ok as a CB the couple of times he did in the past two years....so there is that.

im still not 100% sold on Tinnerholm, his four goals save him but many times in season i see him just being slow and clumsy and at times just careless with ball. SAS should of stayed and maybe you right gotten more minutes and maybe resting would of helped. Also tinnerholm cant cross.

Sweat as a backup is fine. But he's not worth the $200,000 he's going to be making next season. Maybe we get lucky and Cincy takes him in the expansion draft.

RE: Tinnerholm, I actually think Tinnerholm exceeded my expectations. Individually, I think he was strong on defense, good on and off the ball and moved in the ways we needed him to. Now, with that being said, him having a revolving door of wingers on the right side didn't help him at all which I can see contributing to why some aren't impressed.

Also, his crossing is pretty bad, but if that's the worst thing about him, I'm cool with it

Yes and no. There were quite a few games where he was dreadful. And dummyrun did a great job pointing out how many teams specifically targeted our left side when attacking. There was a stretch in the second half of the season where I thought he played pretty well. Nothing crazy good, but was contributing and not getting completely toasted on defense.

I think he just has trouble defending in space out as a fullback. He has a weird skill set with his size. Based on his crossing skills and lack of ability to defend on the wing, I could see him being used as a LWB. But when he has played CB, he's done decently well, so perhaps he wouldn't be bad as a LCB in a back 3 with wingbacks. But then you do lose most of how he has contributed, which is his crossing ability.

Your response to me is just like a story I know called "The Puppy Who Lost His Way." The forums were changing, and the puppy was getting... dumber.
Since you posted this after I made and edit, which you didn’t include when again making it personal, just shows your selective retort to support your narrative. That’s something I expect from my 3yo daughter, but again, you be you.

I came here because of that Instagram post. I don’t speak Spanish.

But someone last week said Taty was coming back. He’s certainly still living in the city.

Never saw it.
Oh man. You gotta get on that.

Haha, perhaps, but I’ll pass. Don’t find Sandler to be funny.
Fair enough. It's also one of those movies that I'm not sure if you watched it for the first time now, you'll find all that funny.

I grew up watching this and its a classic to me that I can watch again and again. But I'm not certain if I watched it for the first time now, if I would find it as funny.

Showed Billy Madison to my fiance for the first time last year. It still holds up watching it for the first time.
