After the match today I was inspired to drop some Pirlo-related coin, so I waded into the Legends store and somehow managed to find one of the only L-size authentic blank-back jerseys left. Paid the ladies and had PIRLO 21 pressed on the back.

An interesting post from Garber in MLS Q&A. Every other CFG team is Nike, so there's a possibility we might go Nike in the future. However there are two caveats. One, there are a lot of teams that wouldn't be able to get a kit sponsor if every team signs their own. And if this is true, I don't think Adidas would go and sponsor their own clubs and the rest of the league that don't get a sponsor.

It's really going to be all Adidas until we get to the point where every team can sign their own deal.

You are probably right. But there are SO many lit manufacturers out there, I'm sure every MLS team could find someone. Nike gets my vote for NYCFC. Also, Yokohama is Adidas as well.

This MLS deal is up in 2018 and both Nike and Under Amour are getting their Bids ready for the whole league.
