I mean doesn't this say it all? Look at that team. WOW. (WOW as in bad, not good). We can give credit all we want to PV and deservedly so. However, I guarantee you if he had this line up this year this team would be rock bottom again. Twas as expected. New franchise, first year in MLS, of course you will have completely shitty players.
Don't forget, these players were so prized by kreis, he traded away assets to get brosky and Jacobsen, played grabavoy over better options and said you build a team around wingert. Kreis wasn't stuck with anything other than his own decisions

That's fair on the bad credit where bad credit is due side. But on the good credit where it's due, Reyna has taken more than a little heat on these boards. Dude deserves some props.
The reports were that Kreis had more of a say on personnel last year than Reyna - he conducted all of the South American scouting trips. And maybe Reyna was more in control than reported, but JK was consistently reported as always having final say.
This year Reyna supposedly has more control and is functioning like a real GM - and he's pretty much nailed it on every new player; White & Mendoza are debatable, but are collectively more a push than a lean. Maybe PV is fully involved - there just haven't been a ton of reports on it. Depending on what happens this transfer window, Reyna could legitimately be up for GM of the year.

Fair, but he also played unattractive football. Our team, talent or not, is more fun to watch this year from a pure soccer perspective.
