Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I posted on the forums, but I wanted to extend an invite to you all for away game tickets. For those of you who do not know me, I am Brian and I am one of the VPs of the Third Rail. One of my roles is to set up away game travel. I have been in touch with a bunch of the clubs to get ticket allotments and pricing. I want to invite as many New York City FC fans as absolutely possible. These tickets are not just for Third Rail members. They are open to everyone.

Each club has their own ticket allocation available and is noted in the links below, so get your tickets early to ensure your spot. I am working with all of the clubs to provide links for Ticketmaster where everyone can buy their own tickets. If that is possible, the link has been provided. Some clubs are still working to implement it. If the option is not available, I will be buying the tickets from the club, in bulk, and will have someone on the ground at each of the games in order to distribute tickets. If you would like to be this person, please PM me and we can set that up.

For the "local games" i.e. New England, DC and Philly, we will be chartering buses along with providing access to tickets to the away supporters sections and tailgate information.

For Red Bull games, we will be providing access to tickets and will be providing meet-up information for before the match. Everyone can get to Red Bull Arena on their own.

For Montreal games, I have 50 Amtrak group tickets available. That info is provided in the link below. We will also be providing access to tickets and meet up information. The STM (Montreal's subway system) goes directly to the stadium. That info is also provided in the link.

For "far games" i.e. every other match, everyone is encouraged to book their own travel and lodging, but we will provide meet-up points, buses from those meet-up points and tickets to the away supporter section, plus any other details possible.

I will be posting links for the various away games and information surrounding the match. Please see the below links for the first few away games.

I can't wait for the New England match. It's an easy opportunity for us to get as many people as possible in the stadium as plenty of seats are available! Plus I live 90 minutes away!

Thank you, Bryan !!!
I have some asks for you :
1) Why we will have only 200 tickets for the debut at Orlando in a 65,000 stadium ????
2) How many NYCFC fans will be in Carolina the next February ?
3) Will be the TR group present in ALL THE 17 NYCFC away games ? I hope so, because the NYCFC must not never to walk alone........

Thank you for the possible reply and FORZA NYCFC from Napoli ( Italia ) !!!!

1) we are at the mercy of the home club. This is the ticket allotment that they provided us. If we sell out the 200 really fast then maybe I have some ammo to go back to them and request more.

2)Third Rail was not involved with the Carolina Challenge Cup. The Charleston Battery set up the whole event. As per the event page, there are 25 people going.

3) I will create an Eventbrite page for each event and provide access to tickets for all of the games. As for the meet ups and stuff, that will all depend on how many people show up.

Brian,

How do we feel about chilling with an opponent's supporter's group pregame if its a small away day? That presumes we don't have beef with them for whatever reason. For example, I am going to the Fire game in April and I would be somewhat surprised if very many travel. It would be a cool way to build relationships with other SGs and exchange ideas and whatnot. Also, scarf exchanges would be easier. Just a thought.

Edit: Also why are some of the tickets free? Do we pay later?

I have no issues with meeting up with other Supporter Groups. I will try to look into a few.

Some of the tickets are listed as free because the tickets are not sold through the Eventbrite page. In the case of Chicago, the tickets are sold through their Ticketmaster portal. In the case of NYRB, they haven't released their ticket portal yet. Once they release their portal, I will be sending out an email to all those who RSVP'd and post the link.

I'll be at the carolina cup for game 1 v. OC. I think some people might be meeting at the daniel island grille before the game, as per the Third Rail event page: https://www.google.com/maps/place/D...1s0x88fe6ffae1f0c72b:0xd5e10ab0305e6332?hl=en. Might be a good time to rehearse chants/songs. I know the third rail has come up with a few they used at the superdraft (see attached - well, minus supa frank).
Orlando I'm sure will be well-represented, and will try to get under our skin, as is their established M.O. But if we are united and lively, we can give it right back to them-every one of us northerners is worth ten of those southrons!
