35,000 tickets already sold for this game. I bet it will reach the full 60,000 for a sell-out. Hope they don't disappoint but that Club America team can be extremely good when they want to be.

This will all come down to how America approach the first game. First leg 22nd, and if they get a not so good result,then they play chivas that weekend in the classico so if they lose that against chivas then the Mexican press will be all over them and they sure as hell will play their starters the long & trip can give Montreal a the chance to go for it and win at home

I personally think Montreal has no chance at winning the final. If América play half as good as they did in the second leg to reach the final they will win.
That's the thing, it all comes down how they approach the first game. If they go in half trying thinking they will over come deficit in second leg then Montreal has a chance.
If they come out all out then yes it can be over in first game.
One thing against Montreal is that they don't have all the prep time to get used to altitude etc like they did for the pachuca games. Also if the atmosphere can be a factor if they nearly sell out azteca like they did against herediano.

If this was a one-off final Montreal chances would be much higher, but I have seen too many underdogs pull off many upsets Club America should be favored but football is not played on paper hoping for good football and seeing a Mexican club not win this competition this year.
Aside from playing in the Azteca, which is a brutal atmosphere for even seasoned veterans, Club America has the most talent of all the teams left in the last 8 of this tourney.
But, it's why we play the game.

How do you not give red there? If you acknowledge the foul by giving yellow, are you denying that it was a goal scoring opportunity? Weak. Probably afraid he'd be killed by the fans.
Ref could lose control here if he's not careful.
And I'm really hating Club America and its fans for the laser they're pointing at the Montreal keeper all night.
You think security is bad at YS..... have you seen the Mexican paramilitary forces in the first row of the SG sections behind the Montreal goal????
