Dunno man. They hardly ever work at *NYCFC* matches.

You've had good luck then. Sometimes they swipe them and it doesn't work right. Not sure if it's poor training or faulty equipment. Sometimes they have to call a manager over. Sometimes they just shrug and finish the transaction without you getting the discount and you have to decide if it's worth making an issue. Other times it works fine. Very hit or miss.

A team rep told me that all the fixed concession spots are set up for the discount, including the stores. If you go to one of the cart/grill stations because the lines are shorter your probably not gonna get the discount.

That sucks. I've never experienced that. Sometimes they don't even swipe the card. They just enter a discount.

Of all the times I've done it, I've had my card swiped maybe 3 times. Usually they don't swipe, they just enter something into the keypad. Not sure what the swiping does, but you can still get the discount without it.

A woman tried that, I asked her if it was broken or if she didn't know what she was doing. She looked startled and I knew she was lying based upon her reaction, so I made her get her manager.

Apparently, she was taught how to input it numerous times and her manager was upset that she lied and still didn't know how to do it.

I felt bad that she got in terrible (and for the line that formed behind me), but it was her fault for trying to lie.

Just a heads up, if they say it's down, ask for a manager - they're probably lying and just don't know how to do it.

I tried in the last game and the woman clearly had no idea what I was talking about. I thought about making a fuss, but I was only buying a Diet Pepsi and didn't want to hold up a bunch of people right before kickoff.

They scanned my SeasonCard at the main store when I bought my authentic jersey and paid for Pirlo printing a couple of weeks ago, but the scan resulted in neither a discount nor any Cityzen points.
