Just got a call from Jack asking me if I am coming to the game this weekend and asking if the season was going well. Told him it has gotten better since he got back on the pitch. Didnt have the balls to ask him about last week

I received one of those from Frank Lampard. It was strange though, he ignored all of my questions, wouldn't pause, and kept talking over me. And then he just hung up while I was still talking. He then called me again a few days later and for some reason said exactly the same thing.

I got a call from Jack as well, and I said the same thing as OP when he asked me about the season: I said it didn't start so well, but got better after he showed up. He didn't seem comfortable with his script and it felt like I had to lead him through the conversation a bit. But he's 19 and calling strangers so I'm not going to fault him. Told him this was great timing because it was my birthday yesterday and he had the sense to wish me a happy belated. It actually seemed like he was more comfortable when I mentioned that than when he just went through his talking points.
