Mcfc Confirms Lampard Staying In Manchester For The Season

Do you actually believe the tabloids from across the pond? Last time I checked they think Rinaldo is going to Man U.

Really laughing now, Rinaldo to Man U indeed, they are bad reporters, they dont do fairy stories

He was never a NYCFC player. I am not happy with the way this has pitted sister club against sister club. CFG needs to give all of CFGs fans answers.

This hasn't pitted sister clubs against each other.

Manchester City are the Parent Club.

New York City FC, Melbourne City FC, Yokohama Marinos, Aarhus, Espanyol, Ghana FA, Gil Vicente, Limerick, Sporting Lisbon, Djurgardens, Hacken, Mechelen, Nijmegen & Stromsgodset are all feeder clubs.

Not a chance Manchester will let Reyna or Kreis say what they really think right now. Not a chance.

Only dickhead Pellegrini is allowed to shit talk us the day after he backstabs us...

I have to agree with you here I am not happy with Pellegrini more so if JK and CR have be told to shut up. Pellegrini should have handled this in house as JK and CR have. Respect to JK and CR for the way they have handled this. If this was handled in house then we all and and I mean all would not look like fools now.

Bro he was never our player. Him wearing the tee was an act. He was impersonating an NYCFC player.
The more I review what happened the more it seems like it's out of some poorly written teen show.
It really is almost unthinkable that they'd pull this stunt on such a large and important market.

I just saw a tweet that said "MCFC need to know that they just torched their brand in the US"

Obviously very true. How could they be so incredibly stupid?

I am just concerned with the fact that they will get first choice to any of our players if they want them, any time they need them. Can we not ever get MC quality players without them being snatched away?

I doubt you'll have a player of Man City standards for long time. If you do, of course they'll get first choice.

HE IS A FUCKING NYCFC PLAYER! HE SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH MLS AND NYCFC! HE DIDNT SIGN WITH MAN CITY!

No, he did not. He signed contract with MCFC that was planned to expire yesterday and then NYCFC would sign him. They decided to extend that contract and he has absolutely no connection with NYCFC now.

Just came on after a long layoff to see what the actual reaction was to the Lampard situation and realised I'm probably not welcome here anymore even though I (and other people that also support Manchester City) had nothing to do with it.

Yeah you mean in like May when we get Lampard?

All are welcome here but you know damn well what the other club did...so you know what to expect regarding them...

Not sure if that is true as I am apparently one of the "Manchester morons."

And I can see why you would be frustrated with the outcome (I'm disappointed, too) but it's something any club, City or otherwise, would try to do if they could.

It is fine to be upset but I honestly think there are a lot of headscratching leaps of reason being made in the heat of the moment.

Not nearly as many as at Blue Moon...

Did you know we shouldn't be angry because he was never actually on contract with NY?

Where did we ever get the idea that he was a NYCFC player...huh?

You have a very inclusive and entirely reasonable disposition.

Welcome back. Don't beat up on this guy, y'all. He's pretty reasonable.

I don't blame MC supporters. I am pissed at the ownership, and I am not much of a fan of Pellegrini's smugness in suggesting this move is somehow best for NYC. Also, I don't appreciate having my support of the club made to look like it's about a player. It's not. Some people are venting their frustration at how our club was treated at MC folks (and some of those people certainly seem to be intent on goading it into continuing). That's not what this should be made about. I want everyone to focus on how unethically CFG have behaved and how much they have insulted NY football supporters who wanted to play a role in building the NYC brand. To fight with MCFC supporters detracts from the important point that we have an ownership group willing to lie to us, MLS, our front office and a decorated and highly respected manager.

Look at Kreis's quotes from the late summer and early fall. He is not the sort of man who would speak that way unless he believed it to be true. Now, he's silent either because he has been ordered to be that way or he is censoring himself because it would be unbecoming for him to voice his real opinions.

If CFG cannot treat a man of integrity, one who left a top, established club for the challenge of building a new team, with enough respect to give him the truth and not publicly humiliate him, I don't know what we as supporters should expect. It seems that the kit launch was, as many feared, simply a sign of what was to come.

Based on CFG's actions, it would appear that their sole intention was to troll MLS and those who follow the league. If that wasn't their sole intention, then they are doing a piss poor job of proving otherwise.

I'll keep it 100 with you guy, right now and after talking to some of the pinhead MCFC fans on twitter I rather not deal with you guys. I come here to talk NYCFC fans not you guys, you guys come here with a p.o.v looking out for your team, but forget WE ARE NOT MANCHESTER CITY FANS, AND DON'T CARE WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOUR TEAM OR THE EUROPEAN LEAGUES. We are building our own league we care about THIS team and the future of us soccer and MLS. What is good for your team especially in this case isn't good for NYC and the future of this club and the sport in this country. We have no interest in help you out we want to win and build here. If a player like Lampard and MCFC show they will screw us they aren't welcome here and never will be and you fans of the other team need to keep that in mind when come here. This is a forum for NYCFC and the fans of NYCFC. You can be here as long as you know we don't give a flying fuck about your team, league, or the American presences in Europe. We are working to surpass you not trying to join you.

Unfortunately, the club you have chosen to support exists purely for the benefit of Manchester City. The clubs owners don't care about the MLS or advancing US soccer, they care about Manchester City and growing it's worldwide revenue streams.

We are working to surpass you not trying to join you.

NYCFC is working to advance MCFC. It will achieve that by winning trophies, putting money into the cash register and David Silva bedspreads in American homes.

I am just concerned with the fact that they will get first choice to any of our players if they want them, any time they need them.

That is the same basis that all the other MCFC feeder clubs operate on. Even Sporting Lisbon, an experienced CL club have an agreement to give City first choice on their best players.
