I know what he played in that Cup game, but that wasn't the question.... does he have the ability to play wing? He's fast and skilled, and if he can cross he's better than 75% of our current wingers.

Edit: Also who gets the appearance fee, Mix or the team? Could one of his issues with coaches be that he seems more interested in selling hats than working on his game?
Well, Klinsy thinks Yedlin can play wing, too. Doesn't make it true.
I doubt we see much of Gomez on the field this season. Think his main role is to be there for training. Not a bad thing tho. He's still young and could fit into the rotation in a year or two
And he's super cheap, all MLS rosters need guys like him.

Funny how words work.... But in all seriousness I hope we keep him and find a way to get the most out of his skills, and it'll keep a few posters from the anxiety of owning multiple useless Mix jerseys.
Yeah, seems like this rumor took off too quickly. Still plenty of reason to think he could be jettisoned this window regardless if the first rumor was legit or not.
And they put him in a USMNT jersey. Savage advertising, but great way to play off the rumors.
