COOL Logos, Badges & Branding that I think should have been used and can still be used by NYC FC, as todays global brands have lots of similar Logos/Brandings for their brand, company or organization.

A great logo should be legible from a large billboard or the size as a postage stamp.
I feel the first logs that were advertised were way better, sleek, clean and innovative and not similar looking to Melbourne City FC almost identical logo.

Less Is More! Like the Nike Swoosh or the New York Yankees (NY) Logo.

We need some fresh Kick-Ass Branding that is very sleek and 'new' New York and maybe with a slight retro/classic feel, or both!

Original NYC CF Logos

I personally much prefer the clean lines and font utilized here in these EXCEPTIONAL Logos. The circle represents a soccer ball and the rounded pentagon represents the 5 boughs of New York, the light blue ring represents Unity: club, country, community. It is as simple as that!

The NYCFC shield is among the best things that they have done as a club. Changing the look of the inter-locking NYC as you have done above takes a clean look away, and replaces it with what looks like wet spaghetti. I'm confused - is that less, or more?

I want a NYC FC Logo and a Home Jersey that is going to Kick-Ass New York Style. Hopefully it will evolve subtle, because they nailed the Away Kit!

Suffice to say the reason should be obvious why the team went with this

and rejected those others. And btw, forget any logo with the interlocking NY. The Yankees already squashed that.
