Not only was it lacking cohesion having the sections on top of each other (I was also on the bottom, and it was impossible to coordinate with the Templados/drums above, so it seemed completely dead to me), the sight lines were terrible. One of the reasons I enjoy the supporters section is that, although it's more difficult to see the opposite end of the pitch, you get one side very close up and have a decent tactical view of the field. That was not true at Citi at all.
I wasn't able to make it to the 2017 game against Columbus, but they didn't seat anyone on the upper level. Couldn't find a good photo in game, but if you look at the club's
photos during the 'shirt off our backs' event after, you'll see the lower section is still full but no one on top.
