I had to look up all of those people aside from Ethan Hawke. Oh, one of the girls from Girls showed up, how nice.
We can do better with celebrities at our games.

I do watch the show. I have a problem that if I start a series it's very hard to stop watching. Lena Dunham is terrible. But I do enjoy watching Allison Williams.
Vogue is now reporting on Friday's match. Frank got smashing reviews for his football fashionisto look "in a chambray A.P.C. shirt, Dolce & Gabbana trousers, and Adidas sneakers." NYCFC fandom is a must-have of the Fall.

I just laughed at my desk at the thought of a fashion writer asking people "who are you wearing" at a soccer match. Oh New York!
For the record I was wearing my City Blue jersey with Leilani on the back, number 17 - courtesy of Adidas. I switched out of my Harrison hypnokit after our loss to New England and draw to Dallas. I will ride the City Blue jersey streak for now - all of this was somehow left that out of the Vogue article.
The 2017 Primary Kit and rest of Adidas line will be premiered in a fashion show.
I was rocking a 2015 Authentic Primary Mix Diskerud jersey paired with light green J Crew pants and brown Sperries, accentuated with the 2016 Third Rail scarf.
I thought you were having a laugh. Then the link worked and it was just sureal. I guess it helped that Mugatu was behind the original jersey launch (who else would drop a staypuffed marshmallow man size jersey on the audience?), as well as designing our new away jerseys this season. Just hope Derek Zoolander doesn't design our new stadium.
Actually, the 2017 kit will be selected by Meryl Streep masquerading as Anna Wintour.

The club's marketing group continues to hit home-runs (no YS pun intended here). Fabulously done and another great way to define ourselves as NYC's team while the Jersey team sits on their hands.
Agreed, really well done. And this past week, maybe two, I've seen billboards and subway ads all over the city.

Yep. I was thinking the exact same thing. This video. The subway/bus ads around the city. The placement of style articles in Vogue and Page Six. I could go on and on. The strategy is to tightly ingrain this club in the community, and they are executing very well right now.
they could of done the same but never trully did. they never did marketing campaigns like nycfc have been doing.
