Freaking seattle got roman torres uh wanted us to sign him so bad.
Rebecca Lowe sounds like an excellent unbiased source. I think you'll find them coming over here more problematic. And there is a reason why they are dropped. In similar thinking, Rebecca Lowe (NBC's Premier League host) mentioned in an interview with on the Dan Patrick show that if MLS clubs would pickup the 18-22 year olds in England that are cut by their clubs/academies and brought over to the states, that would improve the MLS academies and teams down the line since they would bring up the overall level of play. Bonus, since these players are young, they can get green cards, maybe even citizenship and if they pan out they can be national team players.
These kids may not be good enough for Man United, but I bet they're good enough for Dallas.

Reason is probably not good enough for the PL, but probably better than current MLS rookies.Rebecca Lowe sounds like an excellent unbiased source. I think you'll find them coming over here more problematic. And there is a reason why they are dropped.
Lots of Albanians in the bronx.Lorik Cana was just released by Lazio he would be a huge upgrade on the defensive side. (Instead of Mena) Plays for Albanian national team where he is the captain of the team, i doubt he'd need a lot of money to come over here and play, NYC would be ideal for him, he'd fit in just well with the huge Albanian population.
They'd get another 1k season ticket holders for just having an Albanian on the team. I'm sure he'd come for about the money were paying Nemec and Grabavoy even though i think with the current team we play now with the crosses coming in from Angelino and Iraola, Nemec could capitalize on them.Lots of Albanians in the bronx.
He's 33 and can play both CB and CDM. Get rid of Nemec's 300K plus whatever we're paying Grabavoy and give him some Etihad stock or something.
I don't know if I agree on the "reason they were dropped" comment.Rebecca Lowe sounds like an excellent unbiased source. I think you'll find them coming over here more problematic. And there is a reason why they are dropped.
I get taking a run at Americans, but NYCFC would have to start waiving players to even look at these international kids. In England 1/2 of Africa gets counted as a domestic along with all of Europe. There are guys every year who get cut by the youth programs. Two of them are playing very well right now in the US (Lletget and Pelosi).
That's not to say that Packwood and Cropper would succeed here. You just don't know until they play, but I take a flyer on them for 100k before I spend that money on an MLS veteran who provides nothing but depth (Grabavoy, Wingert, Ballouchy, Brovsky).
Not at $1M. Unless the buyout structure gets changed (or I'm grossly misinformed), there is no way we pay that for this guy.Nemec and Alvarez won't be here next year but Calle could still be serviceable.

This isn't a new concept. I wonder if the problem is just money. American college kids and academy grads might take minimum contracts but I'm not sure foreign kids living in England are interested in living here making 60k maybe. And the problem of foreign slots.
I'm skeptical of every acquisition story. Not at $1M. Unless the buyout structure gets changed (or I'm grossly misinformed), there is no way we pay that for this guy.
Always be skeptical. Except of politicians. Them we should trust.I'm skeptical of every acquisition story.
