No, I couldn’t care in the least who likes and doesn’t like a post, but even you have to agree liking something is definitely the opposite of telling somebody else that a FIFY post is obnoxious. He flat out told me that in response to a FIFY post I made to him in jest. He’s a lawyer and it’s binary.
Otherwise known as, when an account has closed and reopened under a different personality/profile.
That's not really what he said. He said when you use FIFY posts to correct someone that it is obnoxious. He didn't say, but I think it was implied, that FIFY posts when used in a jokingly or jesting manner, such as the one you are referring to, are not obnoxious.
I know where you’re coming from, but FIFY in any capacity is correcting somebody, so coming from a person that has made a monumental stand on how words are interpreted/implied on this site - And I’m sure your remember when he stopped posting for an extended period because of that stand - so implied meanings are not fair game with Mark, it’s black or white.
And for the record, Mark and I have no animosity between us so this isn’t me trolling him.
If this is NYCFC's path to gambling in MLS, it's a bad choice.
I think that sponsorship the Don mentions is DraftKings or Fanduel. They see what DFS has done for other sports and want in on the action. It’s also why they probably changed their own fantasy system to its current incarnation.
I believe MLS/SUM has/had an ownership stake in one if those daily fantasy operators.
