Sounds like a possible Pardewesque deal.. i.e Owners paying off a players gambling debts in return for a low wage contract

This would be an incredible deal if non-DP, possibly better than Mix. Him and Calle would be the best attacking fullbacks in the league, would give us the width we have desperately been lacking and would allow Kreis to properly deploy his 4-1-2-1-2 (diamond) formation.

I like what we're doing with the back line now. Facey's confidence is through the roof right now and you can tell it's affected Hernandez, too. Both have been great, and they're both very comfortable playing alongside eachother. LB and RB can be interchangeable, but those two have been pretty sturdy the last few games. I'd like to keep them there.

That's $436,250 * 5 = $2,181,250.

Which leaves $1,308,750 to pay our remaining 15 spots that count against the cap, or $87,250 per player. Keep in mind the minimum is $60k.

We are either cutting things razor thin, or Garber is dumping tons of allocation money in our (and probably other team's) pockets.

I seem to remember us building up a hell of a lot of allocation money in the off-season.

I've watched him play over the years and he has video game-like touch with the ball at times, and he's a deft crosser. This would be a very cool and unexpected signing. Especially if it's not a DP deal.

For what it's worth the Spanish rags are saying he will not be a DP which I believe will turn out to be accurate.

I am not going to pretend that I know much about this player but if all of the reports by more knowledge fans of LA Liga is correct, and especially if he is a non dp, then this move seems to good to be true. Very exciting.

I assume expansion teams get a ton of allocation money meaning he could be getting DP money without being DP, like Mix.
