I see that we are still the only New York team to win a championship since 2009, er, 2012.

Would have loved to see the Liberty pull off the upset. I don’t have much hope but I will pull for Gotham tooI see that we are still the only New York team to win a championship since 2009.
If GratefulDawg isn’t counting the GMen, we don’t count Gotham!Would have loved to see the Liberty pull off the upset. I don’t have much hope but I will pull for Gotham too
D'oh! Totally forgot about the miracle of 2012. Perhaps it's because I am a Mississippi State graduate and could not stand Eli Manning. If GratefulDawg isn’t counting the GMen, we don’t count Gotham!
And all this time, I thought you went to Georgia.D'oh! Totally forgot about the miracle of 2012. Perhaps it's because I am a Mississippi State graduate and could not stand Eli Manning.
I'm from the shitty college town but better looking mascot. And all this time, I thought you went to Georgia.
Are you the one who ran @midasmulligan out of town?
I’m in the opinion that since there isn’t a team in NYC and they decided on the unfortunate decision to settle in NJ, that they still count. The Devils and Red Bulls don’t count, but Gotham, Jets, and Giants would count. But then again it’s all personal preference. I would happily argue the semantics of the Bills being the only NY football team.
The Giants and Jets are New York teams because they originally played in New York. The Devils and NJRB are not, because they have always played in NJ.Giants and Jets are New York teams. Devils are a New Jersey team. It even says so in their team name.
I was in Starkville for a weekend during my college days. I recall that it was illegal to buy cold beer in that county. Is that still the case?I'm from the shitty college town but better looking mascot.
I certainly didn't try to run anyone out of town.
No, they passed a cold beer ordinance in 2005.I was in Starkville for a weekend during my college days. I recall that it was illegal to buy cold beer in that county. Is that still the case?
THIS!!!the Bills being the only NY football team.
If NYCFC moved to NJ, would we still consider them a NY team? The Giants and Jets are New York teams because they originally played in New York.
Sensible, obviously, but I do mourn the loss of the highly advanced beer cooling technology that existed in Starkville. Those guys knew how to chill beer faster than anyone I had ever seen. That, and the black market for cold beer were two wonderfully original things about that visit. No, they passed a cold beer ordinance in 2005.
We could spin a beer cold in 11 1/2 minutes. I hope you at least visited Oby's, the Grill or Little Dooey's, which for the longest time were the only decent eats in Starkvegas.Sensible, obviously, but I do mourn the loss of the highly advanced beer cooling technology that existed in Starkville. what are we talking about? You guys were a trap game for many years for sure. I remember the victory you had in 2000 and then the visit back in 2001. Too bad it's not an annual game anymore, but that's how it goes.
SEC football.what are we talking about?
Mods - can we move this to the stadium thread?what are we talking about?
Sadly, I can't say I have a consecutive streak, home and away. I do have a consecutive home attendance in New York streak, never missed a game in the club's history. So that's at least 125 games. But I didn't go to Connecticut and I didn't go to every match in New Jersey. Also, my away attendance has declined in the years.I hope they are planning their 2034 article about LionNYC .
