Not much to say here.
Let's forget it ever happened.
Besides the play that led to Lampard goal this game was a wash. No possession, no pressing, simply guys walking around hoping someone else will do the work.
The defense was attrocious. Couldn't complete a pass to save their life. Literally the reason we lost today. Nothing could make it to midfield.

Might be a stretch but could we blame CFG and the Yankees for this one?

So many road games in a row. 3 games in 8 days.

Predictably schooled by a good midfield. Vacation Frank and the pensioners weren't even trying to stop them. Embarrassing

Saunders looked like a clown on all three goals. That's a potential positive.

Another positive: The Pirlo, Matarrita, Lampard goal was pretty.

Did you even watch the game? Really starting to think you're just hardcore trolling at this point. That game was lost at our defensive line due to their ineptitude. You cant play out of the back and give the ball away nearly every single time.

One of those pensioners was almost solely responsible for the goal. Vacation frank is on a scoring streak.

Did you see KC play through the midfield? why did they have so many chances and we had none? We had 30% of the ball. That is all on the midfield.

Am I bad fan for not really caring about this loss, for not being upset with the loss?

Coming off four straight wins, third game in a week, on the road, Western Conference team -- this was a schedule loss, and one that, frankly, will have as little baring on our postseason implications as any game on our schedule the rest of the way.

We lost. It was bound to happen. Much-needed week of rest and recoup for a much, much, much more important game in terms of conference standings against Montreal.

The Lampard stuff is getting a bit much man. He was out for 40 minutes. We still looked like shit and you just had 1 old guy there. We still turned the ball over. The midfield attacked whenever they had the ball at their feet. Which was rarely because we were inept at playing the ball out.

Josh Saunders would be a problem spot for a USL team.

He's been horrible every match this year. He's so bad, if he manages to luck up and not have one of 5-15 screw ups per game result in a score, he gets credited with a good performance. He, and we, weren't so lucky tonight.

We could have used Matarrita in his position. And Mix's energy might have helped.

We can forget about this one.

Eta: marinate on this: Opara makes less than half of what Hernandez does.

Really could have used Zusi playing as well. Need someone who dawdles around on the ball.

They went directly at us and made us bend over and take it. We had no answers.

They are probably the worst matchups for us. Add maybe LAG & Montreal when they are playing well, but for different reasons.

It's sad how we couldn't hold the ball at all. Thanks to fox's typically awful camera work, we barely saw us on the ball, as most of our 7 minutes of possession went on off screen in lieu of a facepalm from whichever SKC guy missed the latest clear chance.

Saunders goes without saying. RJ was horrible on the left, as he usually is, and Hernandez, wtf? Vieira fucks up a three game week again.

Agree on the camera work. Must have been a non soccer camera crew. Didn't really respect the fact it's non stop play. We had to stare at Besler and Zusi for an uncomfortable amount of time.

TBF T Tom in Fairfield CT rants regularly on Pirlo as well (albeit less lately compared to Frank) and I think this was equally directed at him.
