Here is full list ( including the play in round for the "NASL" teams)
I’d really prefer to see brackets.
Also, in Cosmos B and Miami FC 2 really their first teams folded into their B teams so they can play in a league and USOC?

Fun Fact!
Brooklyn Italians have actually won two U.S. Open Cups (1979 and 1991) and have made the final two more times.
Is there a bracket for the Cup posted anywhere? Curious which advancing winners could end up being our eventual opponent.

All I could find is this, and it doesn't break down possible advancement: https://www.ussoccer.com/lamar-hunt-us-open-cup/2018-us-open-cup-schedule

There are geographic groupings after each round, so it depends on who gets through. When we enter we’ll be in a group of 4 teams based on geography with either 1 or 2 third round winners. We can probably assume that YouKnowWho that just kicked our ass is one of the 1 or 2 other MLS clubs in that group of 4.
ETA that they can’t be grouped with their U-23 until the final. So it’s also possible we end in an Eastern group with RB U-23 should they get through instead, and if we ever lose to them with our varsity then I fucking give up.
Yep. Here is what the U.S. Open Handbook says about the round when the MLS teams enter.
Fourth Round (12 Third Round winners and 20 Division I clubs): After the completion of the Third Round, the teams in the Fourth Round will be pooled and divided geographically into eight groups of four, with four groups having one Third Round winner and four groups having two, with any teams who are precluded from playing each other until the Final being placed in different groups. A random draw, scheduled for May 24, will determine the pairings within each group, with all Third Round winners paired to face a Division I team and not another Third Round winner.A few takeaways.
- Since Red Bulls and Red Bulls U-23 cannot be in the same group of 4, we can be in a group with one of them but not both.
- 12 MLS Clubs will face a lower division team in the 4th round, and 8 will face another MLS team, so our generic odds are 60-40 in favor of having a lower division team in that round.
- USL teams enter in the next round (2nd round). There are 22 of them, and they will enter the pool against the 26 first round winners. The winners of those games will then face off in the 12 3rd round games.
- Our game will either be June 4 or 5, after our June 2 game against Orlando and before we play Atlanta on June 9. Perfect.
I’m pretty sure that is exactly how it will work. I believe they have to win 2 games to have a shot at a MLS club. Geographically I bet they would draw the Revs unless another lower div New England team advances. My local side Elm City Express (New Haven NPSL) play their first ever US Open Cup match tomorrow away to Western Mass. Is there any way if they win a tie or two they could draw us or the Revolution ?

I know i sent this already a while back in another thread but reminder since its tonight
May 9th US Open Cup for the Long Island Rough Riders - Official PDL affiliate of NYCFC. Game is at 8PM @ Burns Park in Massapequa. Free Admission. They could use our support.
Elm City Express advance with a 2-1 win in Western Mass. Am I correct that if they win one more match they have a chance of drawing an MLS side the round after that?
