After Speaking With My Account Manager

I think you will find here there are many fans of both New York and Manchester. It may interest you that I lived in the US and my son is a US citizen. So I find it quite patronising that you project the sense that you speak for the majority when you don't. Just the vocal minority.
this isn't the place for this debate we are going to agree to disagree. No I don't speak for the Majority I am speaking for the fans that are posting here who aren't Manchester fans and why. Last I'm going to post here on the matter.

nice response - yeah I haven't heard from mine after an e-mail - but I've been fairly busy during business hours so I haven't followed up with my own call.

There's no doubt in my mind that they don't plan on directly addressing the issue. They don't even need to at this point. Not that I think it's right because it's not.
I think they do need to apologize. But that would require admitting their fraud.

But it's probably right to expect that they won't. Why would anyone when Red Bull goes and gives you cover by being even more stupid? All of you people who ask why we weren't Red Bull supporters, just have a look at what they just did. Fire a coach who won your first ever major trophy with the SS last year and made Eastern final this year, then hire a guy who literally, in his first moments as head man, says he's imolementing a plan to reflect they are an energy drink.

Almost makes us look like we know what we're doing.

"To get briefly and quickly into the playing style, this is an energy drink," said Marsch. "From the beginning it's been clear that Red Bull – as much as there has been some talented teams there, I think there's been success – I think they want to honor playing a more dynamic and uptempo game and incorporating more young players and now having a new direction.

Caught between the corrupt and the craven.

They make NYCFC look like geniuses. I'm sure NYCFC is loving this. A nice distraction for people to focus on. When I asked my rep if they're going to make a statement he immediately rambled some canned response.

I thought you were joking but that's a real quote. Unbelievable.

This may be of interest. I am fuming that this was not out in the open from the start. We all knew it but...

Sky Sports
has received clarification regarding Frank Lampard’s status.

The Premier League have told us Lampard is under contract at Manchester City and not New York City.

The news contradicts the MLS side's claim they had signed Lampard from Chelsea on a two-year deal in the summer, and that they were loaning him to Manchester City.

The Premier League have asked for clarification themselves over the Lampard’s status, but reiterate that he is under contract with the champions until the end of the season.

They have also confirmed they have received assurances from Manchester City that there is no agreement between themselves and New York City regarding the midfielder, meaning that as things stand he will remain at the Etihad Stadium until the end of the season.

EDIT: Great if this wasn't then one collective fubar then we have two DP slots to fill not one. I suspect it was one marketing genius at CFG that got us all into this mess.

Puts it all into perspective doesn't it.

Alexi Lalas is Reporting that lampard 's deal was with CFG, that he whould sign with NYC. Seem to me that Someone want Back or the deal

I just want to clarify in this thread that I did speak with my rep, and he was very nice and understanding. He didn't tell me anything new. He actually skipped the talking points and just tried to sympathize. He did as well as he could under the circumstances. I told him I didn't expect him to have any answers, but I wanted to make sure they were sent up the chain.

I sent an e-mail to my rep (below) yesterday, didn't have a chance to post or catch up on this thread until now. I'm skimmed and the only additional 'factual' points I have to add from his response is that 1) they are searching for a 3rd DP right now, 2) he didn't know what exactly the contract situation was before/now but didn't expect that there would be transparency on that because the FO has not clarified with the reps.

He was genuinely interested in hearing from me/sympathetic to the issues I raised. Even if it felt like he was issued talking points, or given no information on certain points I wanted addressed, I did appreciate the call. He also mentioned that my jersey issue was being forwarded to the fan services dep't and he would get back to me about how it's going to be resolved.

Not to dredge all this up again but FYI: It's been almost two months now and I have not heard anything back about exchanging my FL jersey. I have sent a couple follow up emails in that time asking for an update but no response.
