What did I miss here
Nothing of note at all.

It was really just me perhaps acting slightly immature towards the NY Post / Fox Business (he wrote one for each) author's unsolicited slamming Bloomberg and WSJ for being late to reporting on the stadium update on the Yankees side.

He said that they "eat his dust" when it came to the Yankees so I wanted to point out that he was actually a week behind the news himself and then he responded in manners which I probably should have seen coming.

he’s an asshat.

festivus was on last night. Might be the single best episode of any sitcom in television history. So much goes on in that episode.

My wife and I recently rewatched the series to introduce it to our 13-YO son. We would watch an episode with a familiar story line. Then, as it went on, we'd see two more familiar story lines. We would look at each other and go "are all three of those in the same episode???"

It was amazing how many times this happened. We tend to fondly remember these different story lines from Seinfeld as if they were individual episodes, but many times several were part of a single show. The Festivus episode is also the one where Kramer works at H&H Bagels, Elaine tries to avoid "Denim Vest" guy and Jerry dates the Two-Face girl. The Marbled Rye episode is also the one where Kramer buys too much at a CostCo-like store and feeds Beef-A-Rino to a horse, Elaine dates the saxophone player who won't practice oral sex, and George's parents dine with Susan's parents (which leads to the famous "rooster, chicken, hen speech"). I could go on all day.

Yeap. It’s incredible how two three or four famous quotes or arcs would happen in one episode.
The marble rye was also the black and white cookie and the throw up episode

We’re talking about the same article in the CFG finances thread. Don’t think this is just for an NYCFC stadium. They can raise the debt at any time, rates are still low so it’s a good time to get the capital.

We've had the poll up for a long time and I think I want to change it to "When Do You Think The Stadium Will Be Announced?" and responses would be by quarters of the year, Q3 2021, Q4 2021, etc. Thoughts?

if you want to change it, i'd go for which season will have the first game in a new stadium?

then we can go by year. I think that's a reasonable number of choices.

I'm looking forward to it, yet at the same time, Randy Levine is certainly the least credible insider on this project, so anything he says is virtually useless.
was thinking the same thing…I’m thinking it will maybe be something along the lines that they’ll be revisiting it in September, etc. that or they’re packing up and moving to Vegas
