2016 Home/away Jersey Wishlist

At some point in the future, I don't want, I need a sky blue base with Yankees dark blue pin stripes to celebrate both of our ownership groups.

For next year id like to see our away kit own our orange. We have conference rivals that already make prominent use of black and navy, so I'd think something orange/white or orange/ navy would contrast well

I'd love for NYCFC to keep the five diagonal stripes as part of their branding. A white jersey with sky blue diagonal stripes would be amazing. But the New Jersey next year will almost certainly be dark blue and orange.

Be careful what you ask for. I've seen some bad sponsors. We could end up with the words "Johnson & Johnson" written across our chests, or something worse.

Still haven't seen those with the sponsor on them, although I'm pretty sure when they announced the sponsor they said we would be able to buy the gear with the sponsor on it but I could be wrong. Maybe next year as I'm sure we will have new training gear.

The color scheme allows for a lot of variation. For a departure from the blue/white Man City look they could try blue/orange (this obviously isn't for everyone but I love it):

I've really dislike the away kit. The only thing I ever appreciated about it was that it was a departure from the Man City look. But I think it's ugly and besides their record isn't very good in it (one win I think - Montreal). The orange wedge and glossy black stripes are bad.

Somebody, somewhere, pointed out that the similarity to the Mets colors might make this color scheme a non-starter for certain factions in our ownership group...

I would like, a blue version of last years ac Milan's home jersey.

Love that jersey (first time seeing it) and would love somethig similar.

I'd like an alternate jersey that's bright maybe like all orange with black numbers, names, etc and an all black emblem.

With the man city home kit staying in 2016 and a navy blue themed away being hinted, I'd love to see us keep a black kit as an alternate. EMRACE THE ORANGE!

The primary jersey isn't changing at all, except for the fact that they should be removing the inaugural season patch on authentic jerseys. The secondary jersey will be dark blue. The adidas 2016 MLS look book

We also know what the away crest will look like: Dark blue, sky blue, and orange. The short are dark blue with sky blue adidas stripes.

Just to reiterate this again. Dark blue jersey with orange and sky blue accents. Jersey week starts a week or so before the first week of matches.

A little orange as a highlight color would be great. Not much. Just along the collar or at the end of the sleeve.

It was said before but I think we should have a "Dutch" jersey as an alternate. I wouldn't want to see it that often, as with a home or away, but I think pulling it out for some matches would be awesome.

Have everything be white, the names, the Etihad logo, the numbers, and somewhere slip in a subtle January 1, 1898 (the day the five bouroughs joined together to create NYC)



I could also see us having a grey jersey with dark blue writing as an alternate or away jersey, just like the Yankees away jersey. I don't think you can go wrong with grey

if we could use them as a base, and create something new I think they are good platforms to jump from. I just want them to be simple. I hate it when a jersey get too busy. Busy jerseys remind me of those terrible Steelers' bumblebee jerseys.
