We're the ones with the Credit Cards though..... looks like I'm going to be saving myself a $175 this year. It's not quite grounds for being fired, but whomever signed off on it should be relieved of their duties making the decision - There is no way they sell as many of these jerseys - not even close - as they did last year's black jersey.
The big question. What color are the numbers on the back? I am guessing orange.
I don't mind the jersey so much. I think the logo and numbers being orange is too much. With orange and blue, youve got to keep the orange to a tasteful limit. I would prefer keeping the orange to the collar and sleeves. And, of course, no stripes down the side, but what are you going to do about that one?

Last year 5 ugly stripes for the 5 boroughs This season we get the adidas swirl... So cutting edge and cool.... . They get so close to getting it right but just can't help themselves.Wtf are those circles? Why? For what?No New kit purchase for me then this year
You typed it so I don't have to. That orange Etihad is an abomination of color design.
The numbers tend to be the same color as the sponsor on the front nearly 100% of the time. There are some random kits by adidas that may differ due to any reason (probably multi colored hoops/stripes) but I'd guess if that is the kit, it will be orange names and numbers.
Our home and away kits played off that template, as did all/most of the others in the MLS. Also makes it easier for MLS to create their numbers at large.

they're fuck ugly, but they'll will grow on me (i think?) and i'll at least buy an ebay second hand or ali express, just cause.
Need to see a good photo of it before I completely lose my shit, but those circles are just awful. No idea what they were thinking. They nailed it with the color-way, though. Why ruin it with stupid circles. Definitely feels like it was sent here from 1995.
This is NYC. We should be able to do better. That being said, for some reason this sports market is not known for aesthetically cool uniforms. When I think New York City, I think concrete jungle, skyscrapers, grittiness. I see black, grays, midnight blues.
Since nobody has yet mentioned it..... please allow me...... per MLS conventions of only replacing one jersey each year and alternating the replacement, unless Adidas & NYCFC decide to terminate this shirt after the season, we are going to be *stuck* with it for TWO SEASONS...... In 2017 we are slated to get a new Home Jersey...... Ugh.......

Edit: I also want to point out, to be completely honest and fair, that I didn't even notice the car bed until Gotham Gator pointed it out.
Its a guy who got a bunch of gear for his kids and posted a picture, do we all know that, and we are joking? Hard to tell.
Well I guess I'm in the minority here, I'm 18 and think it would look super badass. To me it looks better when you imagine Villa streaking past defenders under the lights at night and firmly placing the ball in the bottom corner of the net wearing that Jersey. Everyone has there own thoughts, I like it a lot
