2016 Jersey Thread

The circles represent the targets that we wear on our backs as NYCFC
...or on our fronts
...or over our left nipples
...or something...

Not nessisaily true. The Quakes are going on three years with the same home kit. They've changed the away out every year.
MLS also scrapped jersey week and are letting individual teams release jerseys. I don't think they have a set design of when and when teams can't change kit

when did they scrap it? did they announce that? cause it's normally end of February or early March

the rangers have one of the most iconic jerseys in sports. as do the Yankees.

Iconic doesn't equate to good looking.

To your point..the Yankees logo is iconic...so is the Red Sox, Cowboys, etc. I am sure the Rangers are top 5 in road attendance and yes their Jersey is very recognizable, but I don't know how iconic it is outside the hockey world. That being said, I don't think it is a cool looking jersey whatsoever and is rather ugly, but that is my opinion. I also think the circles on this leaked jersey are stupid and that's my opinion.

Since nobody has yet mentioned it..... please allow me...... per MLS conventions of only replacing one jersey each year and alternating the replacement, unless Adidas & NYCFC decide to terminate this shirt after the season, we are going to be *stuck* with it for TWO SEASONS...... In 2017 we are slated to get a new Home Jersey...... Ugh.......
2 sides to the coin mate we get 3 shitty Nike shirts each season at city ,that retail at £55 each

That's three choices to choose from.... I'm not sure how that's a problem since your home jersey doesn't pay homage to a sister team in the US, and the other two jersey's give you fresh options.

Please explain how you tell a teenager what choose one from the 3 means?
My twos understanding is want all three. !!!!
On a side note we have never won a game in that navy blue bluemoon monstrosity.
And just for information Melbourne city's home kit is an actual man city 3rd kit

This. So much conversation on the jersey and the colors and the circles. WTF is with the car bed?!?!??

Edit: I also want to point out, to be completely honest and fair, that I didn't even notice the car bed until Gotham Gator pointed it out.

I have other questions beyond the bed:

1. What connections does this person have to get that much official youth stuff before the official adult sized jersey has leaked?
2. How quickly did this person loose what ever privileges and or job they have by leaking the jersey in a kid's size on a unmade car bed?

An absolutely fantastic shirt so so jealous so much better than the nike crap we get.to be fair the city home shirt is nice and would make a good new York kit with the white button up collar
I agree. I think the Man City home kit is really nice this year. The blue moon kit is okay and the neon green kit is horrifying.

I know nothing about this guys reputation but: View attachment 3876

Maybe they are new kits for the academy teams? Would make sense why they are kid size. If so that could be good since the general consensus seems to be that they would popular with younger players. Are we going the Oregon route for the academies by using flashy uniforms as a recruitment tool?
