2019 MLS Kit Thread

I remember way back when the Revolution had a deal with some small Mexican company. They didn't have any jerseys available for sale anywhere until after they got a new shirt. The players had to use the same shirts for most of the season.

Not making a point, I just love pointing out to younger folks, who dont know what it was like getting maybe one Champions league game per week and having to pay $20 for premier league pay per views, how much being a soccer fan used to suck.

i looked into this ...wow how did you end up with atletica? lol that company doesnt even have any first or second division sponsorships any more

Can't recall how or why it happened. Another fun part of that season I forgot about..... they actually did end up stocking the pro shop one match like halfway into the season. Word spread quickly amongst the few die hard and a bunch of people went rushing from the tailgate to the store, where they were met by the Revs equipment manager walking out of the store with his arms stuffed of all 20 or so shirts they had in the store. He needed them for the players.

Hopefully these stories give better insight into why I'm generally more positive about our club then others on here. This club is lightyears ahead of what I grew up with.

I think Adidas probably doesn't want to reveal that long-sleeve sales numbers are probably so far below projections as to be both embarrassing and a net loss.

I can't imagine any other reason for such weird secrecy.
I prefer the long sleeves, but the $150 price point was ridiculous.

Would wager sales of long sleeves in southern cities are non-existent. No reason for then there.
