Looks like we might be getting a sleeve sponsor. Only the left sleeve has the MLS badge from what I’ve seen and Toronto has a sleeve sponsor. Hmmm.
edit: Authentic jerseys are tighter this year so might want to go up a size from your last year’s authentic size.

Seems like there's a large split this year. Twitter seems to love it.
I think it looks much better on. And the branding is fairly austere yet manages to connote New York in a way that probably goes well with a briefcase. I kinda feel like they had the concept in mind before the template came out and it happens to be a horrible match.
If they wanted to they could do a very nice set of swag (scarves, hats, blah) with just the motif and the color scheme. I feel like that would sell well.

I think it's a #TeamOver50 thing to hate it.
I heard those are only replicas with the long sleeves.
The wide same color bands on the sleeves and the collar bother me a bit but other than that I like it. Something about the lack of accents on the neck and sleeves makes it look a bit cheap, like a knock off that missed a few minor details.
FWIW: Kitman said he doesn’t think (authentic) long sleeves are coming back to MLS full stop. He said too few players wear them so it didn’t really make sense. But the replica option might make sense
