perhaps they are trying to appeal more to the spanish speaking population of NYC to grow the fanbase? it's a huge population who generally love soccer. Really no excuse not to get them more involved and in love with their local team.

true, but that account seemed neglected. Last year they tried here and there and i think this year too. but it still has ways to go compared to other teams spanish accounts. so maybe you are correct they are trying to migrate it over.
this can be as well, especially with the queens stadium announcement.
however, for that to happen, the spanish account will need to be alot more active to try and get them involved and wanting to go to games. even the marketing, posters in the areas and even radio spots ( yes many still listen to good old radio ) but that is a whole other conversation.

Supposedly he's been outed as a 16 or 17-year-old high schooler on Long Island. Someone on Facebook tracked him down by name (I forget what it is).
What the hell is anyone doing "outing" a high school kid for trying to provide info to fans of a team that otherwise get no coverage? Some people need to get a life.
He was kind of playing along with it, being secretive. It was sort of a sleuthing thing. Not really anything malicious. Eventually he copped to his identity -- had to look it up, his name is Irving Bedoya. He's a little older now though, somewhere around 20-21.
People are jealous. Even if he is just an aggregator, who cares? It’s not like we have any traditional media covering the club? You get more news on the XFL in this city.
