In case you missed it -- at the end of the FS1 broadcast of Seattle-SKC, John Strong said FS1 will air the Toront0-NYCFC game at 7pm on Sunday -- so our game-time for this week is known.
EDIT: Full schedule is on MLS's website:
MTL-NJRB at 3
LA-COL at 5
TOR-NYCFC at 7
SEA-DAL at 9:30

That's OK..... He'll finally see the "real NYCFC" he has been wondering about!!!!At the conclusion of the Seattle-SKC match, they announced that FS1 would have the first legs of the Toronto-NYCFC and Seattle-Dallas matches and that coverage starts at 7.
God damnit, we're not good when we play on Fox. Alexi hates us.
EDIT: Just confirmed on MLSsoccer.com. Would this rule out us playing the later Eastern game on November 6?
I don't understand why the East doesn't get 3/5 & the West 7/9. Splitting them doesn't make sense with the time differenceLooking at last year's schedule and times, Red Bulls played the 3PM games in both legs of the semi-finals. Montreal and Columbus played 7PM the first leg and 5PM the second leg. Here's hoping that we get 5PM next weekend.
MLS gonna MLS, that's why

The only thing I can think of is the fact that NYC and Toronto are big markets and they want more viewers during prime time.
Also name recognition for the star power on LA, TOR, COL and NYC. They also lucked out that the big name international stars on NYC and LA are going up against the USMNT stars on TOR & COL. It couldn't have worked out better for MLS from a 4 hour time slot perspective. That's why I don't understand why they don't just line it up the same way the next leg.
Your saying leave nycfc v tor as the 7pm game for the second leg? I know it's not late but it's not family friendly.

It's TV friendly and we have the marathon to worry about. I have a 4 year old myself. She'll go to the next one if the time works out then. She's got plenty of years ahead of her to go to matches with daddy (let's hope she still wants to!).
Whatever the result on Sunday, I just don't want the team to pull a D.C., and not show up.
Defensive mistakes are going to happen, that's part of the game-for everyone, not just NYCFC- but let's show up and play for 90 minutes.
This team doesn't have a whole lot of playoff experience among the players, but hopefully our DP can draw on the experience of playing (and winning) that little tournament called the Champions League.
