Bless Their Hearts (RBNJ Talk Here)

Is no one going to mention that Marsch has finally (probably) been beamed up to the mothership?

...Now that I think about it, RBNJ is three years older than RB Leipzig, so does that make NJ the mothership?

ETA: never mind, FC Red Bull Salzburg is one year older than RBNJ, so maybe it's them.

I would think there wouldn't be any major changes in how they play since Armas is from the existing staff.

All talk is scattered around. But there was a fair amount in the match thread.

Robles came out and said that their first training session was "organic." Everyone inside RB is saying it's an seamless transition. Everyone outside (at least MLS digital) is saying it's the same team.

Watch them end up with a 5 game losing streak out of the stretch.

You take one ingredient out of the Red Bull formula and you end up with people in the hospital.

I could see that happening. Theres something to be said for how Armas will make in game adjustments v. Marsch. Heck just in game management in general.

I love how the narrative was that NYCFC was the team in disarray as PV left and it didn’t matter at all with Jesse leaving as RBNJ wouldn’t miss a step.

Pretty funny to hear RBNJ fans whining about the coaching last night as the reason why they lost. Bless their hearts.

One more thing, who is the farm team now that their head coach jumped ship to be an assistant at the mother club? Oh, and their crown jewel (Adams) is probably headed to the mother club at the end of the year too.

Armas lost the script last night with his subs. He pulled a classic PV, and waited to use his only sub at 88min after going down. Don’t understand that at all other than he was playing for a tie with the hope of stealing a goal if lucky in the press.

I fully expect RB to start dropping points - they’re gonna suffer under Armas.

Reminds me of the home derby last year when I encountered a RB fan at Yankee Tavern wearing a red t-shirt that said "Man-City Lite", poking fun at us.

I politely approached him and told him I didn't understand why he was wearing that. He looked at me incredulously as if I was a moron and proceeded to explain the shirt to me. To which I responded that I in fact understand the premise of it, just not sure why a RB fan would wear it since if they want to make fun of our ownership arrangement, they are basically "RB-Leipzip Lite" or "RB-Salzburg Lite".

It's kind of appropriate that they see the world through the prism of soft drink product differentiation.

I think in the context of last night's match, Red Bull Zero makes more sense: https://goo.gl/images/bsg9UJ

I WAS THINKING THIS MORNING "The only thing that could be worse for RB than marsch leaving is BWP going to Leipzig as well." close enough lol!

Man City only ever took Lampard from us, and quite frankly, they should have kept him. Everything else has been in our direction.
Jack Harrison, kind of, sort of. Obviously way different because he was going anyway.
