Concacaf Champions League

Technically the Impact is my local team but we all know where my heart lies. Is it wrong to hope they lose in the final so we can be the next MLS team to win it?

Porter and Khiry look like the best MLS rookies.

If they face Club America, a lose is acceptable in the finals... CA has been the dominate team in CONCACAF for a few years now. Otherwise, Montreal has to win it all. NYCFC's day will come.

Not really with Club America.

The dominate team was Monterrey, by far. Cruz Azul always a runner up but finally won it all last year.

I thought that was going in. That Porter kid is something, wonder if Klinsmann will be interested...

Montreal are probably 1 goal away from the final...

Just trying to understand this, are you saying that Khiry is going on the trip to Bosnia and Denmark with the U23s or he is going to participate in Olympic qualifying in October.
u23 trip for now, I think that type of exposure and validation will be good for his development. Obviously, goal should be to make the Olympic team. u23's don't have too many forward options outside of Rubio Rubin. Jordan Morris is more of a midfielder who can move up. Olympic team might have Altidore, but I think a spot is open for Khiry if he keeps improving.

We'll find out if Khiry makes the Europe trip in a few days.

Sick and tired of seeing the Mexican teams dominate this competition, been waiting for years for more and more MLS clubs take this competition more seriously. Hopefully Impact can hold on in this tie and beat Club America in the final.

I share your support for Montreal.

Also, Club America is not guaranteed of getting through as they lost 3-0 in the first leg.

Is it possible that Khiry will not travel to Colorado because of the trip to Europe?
