This is way too logical. Ban this troll.Dan that is 100% spot on.
There has been an investment of at least $100 million in NYCFC with much more planned.
The premiership and champion league prize money is not worth that, and right now nor is the additional advertising revenue.
I cannot see anyone in there right minds, let alone one of the CFG hierarchy jeopardising the investment that has gone into NYCFC for the sake of keeping one player at (what in this case is) the wrong club

If would be cool if they would just come out and say, "this is unfounded and Frank will be there on XX date". Even if MCFC then decided to purchase him for a properly exorbitant amount that we then used to buy a better, younger player, it would play better to have the story change based on a godfather offer than it reading like our needs are secondary.

PPS - I don't hate MCFC. I don't support them, but I do enjoy watching them play and don't mind the club. My animosity around any of this stuff (at least ideally) is targeted at CFG.
I would tend to agree in the most part with your statement. The two bits I do not agree with are the call for a ban, and animosity towards CFG.
I stand by my earlier statement regarding Lamps having an obligation to join NYCFC before the MLS. The ideal compromise being 1st Feb.

Of course one thing no one has said about Pelligrini's statements or whatever is that English is not his mother tongue and just perhaps his interpretation of what he is saying is not quite what we hear.
I'd have no problem with Lampard being extended through February and joining us in time for the opener. He has looked better and better with every game and where he first looked awkward upon arriving at City he looks as comfortable as ever now. His movement has been spot on and he's always in the right place to receive the ball. He had a couple beautiful lob passes in the last game that almost led to goals. I believe it was Milner that could capitalize on one. We'd stand to benefit moreif Lampard stayed in Manchester through February than if he played against Charlston Battery in February.
By the way. MCFC/NYCFC aren't going to say anything because there is nothing to say. You're buying into 'rumors' which the club sees no need to address. Without even reading it I can only speculate that Manuel was asked about Lampard and probably said .. 'Yeah I'd like him to stay' uhm yeah.. Of course he would. Why wouldn't he? It doesn't mean jack shit. He's simply answering a question honestly.

That's exactly what was said in the chat earlier. Pellegrini has absolutely no connection to NYCFC he's not executive management. Really nobody should take issue with Pellegrini over this and really its his job to act in MCFC's best interests. The only ones who should be questioned over this are corporate management and I guess Kreis as well though who knows what he's saying behind closed doors. Its not the media's fault at all either last thing we need is countless "bash the media" threads on here.
Also, let me add, Xavi is not a suitable replacement for Lampard. I've done a lot of research via purchasing him for my FIFA 15 ultimate team, and he stays injured.
I blame all of this drama on Roy Hodgson. If he hadn't violated Sturridge's training regimen, LFC wouldn't be total shit and I wouldn't have as much attention available for offseason drama.
