General MLS Discussion

That's pretty good! Great coverage with BR being pretty prominent recently!

i was under the impression BR sucked. The last time i paid attention their articles felt like blog posts and had to click thru a slide show to get the whole article.

Oh, I'm not talking about their articles, I don't really read those. I just see them on youtube a lot. Could just be the youtube algorithm recommends them to be a lot?

the champions league and europa league hightlights were always highly recomended i didnt always watch them, i did watch their show "the champions" but that was it. i just done know how much they will do in terms of content.

new series entitled - the retirees, confirmed. what happens when you take aging european football talent, send them to america, and let them play out the rest of their career under one roof while asking for big bucks?? the retirees.

Yeah, I've always made sure to steer clear of BR content for any sports that I follow. It's just been usual click baity type articles that, as you mentioned, get you to click many times through to read content that is just meh.

So basically every sucky team got better after the tournament except for us... Great.

And some good teams are sucking (lafc).

We were also dead last on April 20, 2019.
We were dead last in the East last year for April 20, 2019 and only April 20, 2019 (the Revs passed us the evening of 4/19 and on 4/20, we beat DCU). We were not dead last in the whole league as we are now (Portland and Colorado were both behind us). We were also 2nd to last in the East in PPG at that moment (ahead of Red Bulls).

We also had about 28? games to make things up. This year, it's much shorter.

If the team can find a way to win, there would only be 3 points between us and 4th place. (barring their game in hand tha would come from that.)
So we're still not beyond hope, but that also means we need to win games...

Note the fact I never said I have confidence in it happening - just stating the facts that if we _do_ win, we aren't far off of playoffs. heh

i think the point is that you even think that's a possibility instead of accepting that our season is doomed and we be like 2018 TFC but without the CCL final appearance.

When is the earliest we will know if having games outside of the bubble is a bad idea or not?

Its been pretty quiet testing wise.
