Would it be nuts to play RJ Allen in Grabavoy's spot? He's looked awful defensively but decent going forward and getting wide. I like what he's done sending balls into the box, we could finally use Nemec' size as an advantage if we can find someone to whip in crosses. Probably a crazy idea but just throwing it out there.
Ultimately hopefully Calle is the guy who can play this ball. I also think that an under appreciated place where we are missing him is on corners. His quality on corners before getting hurt far exceeded what we get from anyone else.
Looking at ticketmaster, surprisingly tons of sections are completely sold out that normally would have a chunk of seats left. I'm not sure if they are reserving them for some type of promotions or if they for some reason have extremely high demand for this match.
Kids back from college, some schools must be almost done, it's finally a Saturday night game with some promising weather (High 82, Sunny) for the day. It's going to be the best night of the year to watch a game thus far.

Man City will be in YS for Sat match against Houston Dynamo. Lampard is not on the list of traveling players. Its probably just because he's not a "player" anymore technically. Do you guys think he will be here in NYC on Sat ? I doubt it but you never know. If he is, probably wouldn't be in uniform.

I'm really surprised MLS isn't shouting about these friendlies from the hilltops like they used to. I had no idea the friendlies were happening in Toronto or Houston until just now.

I don't remember ESPN hyping up the Sounders against Spurs this summer either. Granted the World Cup was going on at the time.
I bet all of Man City is in attendance for this game and they're shown on the video board. Maybe even an appearance on the field.
Just remember, whatever the outcome of this match that the Houston Dynamo have a cheerleading/dance team.
