I confess I forgot that. I think I discounted it somewhat back then because 3 teams had byes in Week 2 already, which was absurd, but sole possession of first place is what it is.
What are the guesses on how we are going to play this week. Last year we had the most success against TO by fouling Giovinco constantly and bunkering down to play counter attack. Vieira seems like the kind of guy to play his system no matter what. Might see us start in 343 this week. I guess a lot depends on who is available from injury. Really hope we don't see hernandez again.
I am sure Pirlo has Gennaro Gattuso's number on speed-dial and can facilitate a one-game contract. GG can even trash-talk Gio in Italian while he pummels him.

After watching the condensed Toronto-NJRB condensed game I am going to say the same thing I said after Chicago beat Portland 2-0 in their last preseason game. Toronto did not look that good. NJRB absolutely should have had a 2-0 lead before there was a single Toronto highlight. Lloyd Sam choked. 11 shots one on goal for NJRB. 63% possession for NJRB.
Obviously any time Giovinco is on the field he can score and help his team win but we should be looking to dominate like we did against Chicago. 60% possession and 20 shots is doable against this team.
My bold prediction of the season is that Villa will score more goals than Giovinco. This is the game Villa moves ahead in the Golden Boot race.

Well, it's a 72 hour turnaround during baseball season, so they have another couple of days. I remember last year, it was a much bigger project, because the field was nothing but dead grass covered in a foot of snow.

The tunnel between Borough Hall and Bowling Green is going to be closed down this weekend for repair work, so there's no service from Brooklyn. As a matter of fact it looks like they're going to close the tunnel every weekend through the end of July.

Its obvious toronto is a better team but i dont care. I just want viera to work extra on defense and give pirlo a man to play defensive midfield behind him.
