So your point that no one else took the initiative to start a team, and no one else could have potentially started a New York team is proven by the fact that Shiek just outbid everybody else that wanted to do the same thing? Great news for all real NYCFC fans, you get rid of the petulant glory fans early on who only support the club on the back of signing 2 big players. Anyone who's willing to stop supporting their team over the loss of a player is a fan not worth having in the first place. A ground with 15,000 behind the team is better than one with 30,000 ready to pounce on any mistake, as seen at Spurs this season. Good luck in the coming season and to those worried, remember that you'll be benefitting from Manchester City's fantastic youth program and players for years to come, what's a couple of months?

Supporting a team based on two high profile players is worse than supporting a team based on a name, which you appear to be doing?

What happens to an in-form David Villa if the Aguero injury is worse than thought? After this, can you tell me with any certainty that Villa wouldn't be sent on loan to MCFC?

It's not about the quality of Frank. It's about us just being bent over and rawdogged by a foreign ownership group. That's why people are pissed. It's insulting to us and the league.

People want to no longer support the club because the fucking owners don't even seem intent on supporting it. Capiche?

Not sure why I would take offense. But please go on... Why did Manc fans eat crow? Were they treated as a red headed stepchild as NYC is being treated? I'm serious. I don't know the history. I am a native New Yorker, millenial, with a good job and had season tickets. Thought I was an ideal candidate for a fan of this club. And this move makes zero sense to me. Either you are blinded by your fandom of ManCity or you need to explain why I should stay a fan.

Are you serious? Manchester City have not had a fit striker for the last 3 games and have already rules out signing David Villa. Anyone with a sense of perspective will know for sure that this is a one off situation in which Manchester City can actually benefit from NYC. I know I'm pissing in the wind a bit with emotions running high so soon after the announcement, but it's really not as bad as some people think.

I really don't think Manchester realizes what they've done by this. Fans from all over the league take this as an insult to the league.
