Its going to be funnier when the second team of Manchester wins nothing this year meaning this was all for nothing.

Good. Forget Frank and forget everyone jumping off the NYCFC train because of this. I was a fan before the club had any players and I will still be there day one. Plus, I think our DP slots could be put to much better use than on a 36 year old who would most likely only stay a year, now half a year.

As far as I'm concerned Lombard can't come, lets use his DP slot for a better and younger player

Great news for all real NYCFC fans, you get rid of the petulant glory fans early on who only support the club on the back of signing 2 big players. Anyone who's willing to stop supporting their team over the loss of a player is a fan not worth having in the first place.
This is not a real club, dude. A real club doesn't put the needs of another club over their own.

And New York City fans aren't as easy to please as you seem to believe.

I can't wait for Frank to join up with the club eventually and go on scoring goals and have you guys proclaim his brilliance. I swear the fans of this team sway however the breeze blows.

How are all the people getting rid of their season tickets because of this decision going to boo? All 12 of you should gather outside the stadium and when his names announced boo really loudly, that'll show him!
People are actually getting rid of their season tickets over this lol no way come on

CFG did the obvious thing and moved to keep a hot player on a contender for the league title (no chance they win UCL). Sucks to be exposed in such a humiliating and embarrassing fashion as a little sister club to MCFC - our splashy big signing clearly wanting nothing to do with us and our front office having no ability to look out for our own best interests.

I don't think this was what CFG or MCFC intended to do when they sent him on loan - nobody expected him to be this good - but I don't see how any of us can have any confidence whatsoever in this club's ability to operate on any sort of arms-length basis going forward. Really, really, really bad day for NYCFC.
