This was the kind of signing I was hoping for all along. No European retreads. Let's get some young American talent and make this club the destination for our national players.
This would be the kind of news NYCFC needs. Excellent signing, if true. I might even be okay with Frankie playing (as a late sub) in July if this news is true.
Would this be a DP signing (and the third assuming lampard comes)? If so, I was kinda still hoping for de Rossi, but want to hear what others think
If they can finesse down his salary with allocation money and get him right below DP threshold, it would be a great move.
