I hear #NYCFC has signed Mix Diskerud. He's in New York and it could be announced tomorrow. It's a pretty solid signing.

Where are you, at work? Some employers have a ban on social media sites. Mine blocks twitter/facebook/etc for nearly all employees so they wouldn't see anything either.
Luckily I'm in Marketing so we have access to it.

Also, Ives is such a bumblefuck blowhard. He does that "I'm hearing blah blah blah the opposite" every single time he gets beaten for a story (so EVERY SINGLE TIME).
He also needs to quit with "everyone is all talking this and that and here's why people need to CALM DOWN" schtick. Dude, you can't make up "everyone is talking about" when it's you, Ives. YOU. YOU JUST SAID IT. NO ONE ELSE. That's basically the SBI podcast. Him making up a "majority position", then taking it down while his manservant Garrett heels to him. That's literally half of his show. The other half is him patting himself on the back for how long he's been at it, who he knows or how many USMNT matches he's been to. My calculations might be off because I'm not allowing for the occasional dig at Garrett or vague allusion to how hard he can party.
He is an pompous ass hole, however because of his moist mouth within the MLS he does get some good braking news.

True. and maybe. But shit, he's the one who wrote the Goal article. But his tweets on breaking news always seem to be phrased in a way such that the accuracy can never be disproven. I think he only seems right because he phrases things in a way that he can never be wrong.
If Mix doesn't sign, he can point and say "See, told you all to settle down." If he does sign, he can say "well, it wasn't a done deal at that time." I just find that style annoying as shit.
Only way I'd be confident without seeing the contract is if Twellman tweeted it it
